Dell becomes fastest-growing B2B brand for Exertis Micro-P

Exertis Micro-P says Dell sales have been soaring since it became an official Dell value-added distributor.

Gareth Bray, enterprise business unit manager of Exertis Micro-P’s server and storage division, told PCR: “Dell is our fastest-growing B2B brand and we fully expect this to continue into next year as we launch new lines of business and increase our touch with our partners."

“In the last year we have nearly doubled the base of resellers buying Dell products, on average 500 per month, and in doing so have increased year-on-year revenues. We are the only UK distributor to hold both broadline and value-added distributor contracts, providing us a unique position to support Dell’s reseller channel.”

The distributor is currently developing a Dell Solutions micro-site at www.exertismicro-p.info/dell/ and also plans to launch an online configurator for resellers.

It has also launched the new Dell Precision workstations in November, including the £936 T1700 mini tower and the £1,337 M4800 laptop.

Bill O’Shea, Dell’s UK commercial channel director, commented: “Micro-P has enabled Dell to reach out deeper into our UK partner community as it continues to expand its Dell portfolio.”

Benefits for ordering through Exertis Micro-P include Dell pre-sales support on end-to-end solutions, an in-house demo suite for training, next-day delivery for certain stock, a credit program and more.
