DCC Sercom has reported revenue growth of nine per cent and an operating profit of €40.1 million – the same as last year.
According to MicroScope, exchange rate fluctuations prevented the group from posting stronger growth figures.
The majority of the revenue growth was generated by the IT and Energy divisions, and additional sales revenue was created by the UK Reseller business, where the group has been gaining market share.
“DCC Sercom performed strongly, benefiting from growth in both its Retail business in Britain and its European Enterprise business,” said DCC Sercom’s CEO Tommy Breen.
“The outlook for the current financial year is set against the background of an exceptionally difficult economic environment, which we expect will continue throughout the year.”
