TalkTalk celebrates launch of new SimplyBroadband

David Dickinson opens TalkTalk pop-up shop selling tech for £2.50

Beaming TV personality David Dickinson has opened a one-day pop up shop to celebrate the launch of TalkTalk’s SimplyBroadband.

The shop, called Simply £2.50, offers high value items including flat screen TVs, smartphones and tablets for just, you guessed it, £2.50.

The products, which are worth a combined value of over £25,000, are being sold to members of the public for the price of a pint of milk and a loaf of bread – and the equivalent to the monthly cost for TalkTalk’s SimplyBroadband.

The shop, which is based in London’s Camberwell Green is open for one day only.

Dickinson commented: “This is such a fabulous opportunity for the British public to get their hands on some amazing products for the price of a cup of coffee.

“Who would have thought you could ever get flights to New York – or indeed unlimited broadband access – for £2.50. Cheap as chips!”
