Network specialist D-Link announced a combination router with 200Mbps power line networking and Wi-Fi called the D-Link Hybrid Wireless-N PowerLine Router.
The D-Link Wireless-N PowerLine Router (DHP-1320) combined wired and wireless home networks in an IPv6-reader router which the firm says provides options to extend home network coverage and enjoy high-bandwidth applications.
The DHP-1320 also features three 10/100 Ethernet ports, WiFi Protected Setup (WPS), built in QoS engine and is based on an Atheros chipset offering the firm's Hy-Fi technology in order to expand wireless coverage.
D-Link also unveiled a raft of compatible devices such as the PowerLine AV 4-port switch with 200Mb PowerLine networking.
The device is now available in North America and via the D-Link online store directly wiith an MSRP of $129.99.
No European product pricing or availability has yet been announced.
