High end component brand Corsair has announced the launch of the HS1 Gaming Audio Series USB headset.
The company said that the new HS1 noise-isolating headset offers long-term playing comfort and immersive multi-channel audio, featuring "massive" 50mm drivers and a tuned acoustical design optimized not only for gaming, but for movies and music as well.
The HS1 closed-back design helps reject ambient noise which the company said was handy for high-distraction environments like LAN parties. The foam ear pads are also replacable and the uni-directional noise-cancelling microphone is positioned on an adjustable boom.
"We set out to develop a headset with the performance that gamers demand, while also providing the pristine audio reproduction required for multi-channel movies and high bit rate music," stated Corsair marketing boss Jim Carlton. "The Audio HS1 easily meets both these challenges."
The USB connected HS1 also offers Dolby Headphone technology to provides multi-channel sound and an Eetra-large inline volume and microphone controller is provided which has been designed to be "easy to grab" during gameplay.
Corsair didn't providing pricing or European availability.
