Electrical goods specialist Comet is to open two new stores in Nottingham, creating 80 new jobs for the city. The first is a new outlet in the Giltbrook Retail Park, which will open on October 18th and the second store is a relocation to the Castle Meadows Retail Park, opening on the 29th November.
The opening of the new stores will be preceded by a recruitment drive for sales staff, administrators and warehouse employees. The company also has committed to a training scheme designed to educate new staff on the latest products and innovations – and presumably how to sell them.
Bryan Gardner, manager of the Nottingham Giltbrook store said: “Comet prides itself on giving great advice and we’re looking for colleagues who are as passionate as we are about customer service. We’d encourage people to log on to our website to learn more about the varied opportunities available and make their application.”
