Comet has signed a major deal with consumer security market leader Symantec to push the latest version of Norton 360 with any purchase of a laptop, netbook or desktop PC at half price.
The deal will see all customers purchasing a computer offered a 12 month subscription to the software package at half-price.
The retailer said the deal reinforces its commitment to customer service: "Great customer service is a key component of the Comet customer experience," commented category buyer, Phil Elford. "Security is a vital ingredient for a safe computing experience and a major concern for Comet customers this partnership with Norton from Symantec reinforces this customer commitment."
It was echoed Symantec's UK sales manager Scott Claydon. "Comet is an important partner for the Norton brand and this latest agreement reinforces Symantec's commitment to bring Norton security protection and performance to customers through the widest variety of channels."
