Comet has announced that it is planning a weekend of events to celebrate the reopening of its Leeds Crown Point Retail Park superstore on May 10th, making it the latest store to undergo the retailer's major revamp of its stores. The new store will carry Comet's full product ranges, from laptops to tumble dryers over two floors. The firm has invested over £1.4 million in the store with it now carrying over 2,500 products from major brands including Sony, Bosch, and Panasonic as well as premium brands such as Maytag, Miele and Rangemaster.
Speaking about the store revamp, storage manager Mark Kenny said: "The team here are really looking forward to welcoming Leeds shoppers into our fantastic new store and are certain that they’ll be as excited by the two-storey format as we are.
"The new team has had intensive product training and will be on hand to offer ideas and guidance when choosing between different products. We’re confident that customers will notice a real difference between this store and other electrical retailers in the area."
