Swindon and Birstall, West Yorkshire to benefit from refurbished two-story stores

Comet opens doors to revamped stores

Comet has reopened two stores after major refurbishment programs worth a combined £2.5 million.

The two, two-story stores based in Birstall, West Yorkshire and Swindon have been refurbished to carry a full complement of the latest technology including LCD television, PCs and iPods.

Speaking at the reopenings, Comet regional operations manager Oliver Cook said: The teams are really looking forward to welcoming shoppers into the fantastic new stores and we’re certain that they’ll be as excited by the two-storey format as we are.

"The new teams have had intensive product training and will be on hand to offer ideas and guidance when choosing between different products.

"We’re confident that customers will notice a real difference between the stores and other electrical retailers in the areas."
