Comet has announced that it will be reopening its Yeovil store on August 30th after it became the latest store to undergo a revamp as part of the retailer's repositioning of its brand.Over £1.2 million has been invested in the store to convert it into a two-storey superstore carrying the full range of products that Comet sells. To celebrate the opening, Comet will be hosting a weekend of family fun including DJs, face painting and an in-store draw for a £500 Comet voucher.
Speaking about the opening, store manager Jeff Goodby said: "The team here are really looking forward to welcoming Yeovil into our fantastic new store and are certain that they’ll be as excited by the two-storey format as we are.
"The new team has had intensive product training and will be on hand to offer ideas and guidance when choosing between different products. We’re confident that customers will notice a real difference between this store and other electrical retailers in the area," he added.
