Video game retailer Game is to open a number of concession stores within electrical chain Comet's UK portfolio.
The first will arrive in Comet's Croyden store in mid-October, and a further five will arrive later this year.
Between 1,000 and 1,500 square feet will be set aside for the sites, will be staffed by Game employees and operate as their own concern within the stores.
Comet's managing director Hugh Harvey said: "We're delighted to be partnering with GAME. As two leading retailers in our respective fields, we will combine to offer a market leading proposition to our customers, with the best deals on games, consoles and accessories as well as Comet's extensive product range."
Martyn Gibbs, GAME Group's MD of Northern Europe added: "This trial partnership will give customers access to our full range of products and specialist services in new out of town and retail park locations. We're looking forward to working with the teams at Comet to give customers everything they need as a massive range of games and technology is launched this Christmas."
Comet recently refreshed its branding, and is looking to adopt a more straight-talking approach when it comes to technology retail. To find out more, head over to our exclusive interview with head of marketing Bill Moir.
