Storage distributor CMS Peripherals has bought CCI Distribution.
The firm now commands annual revenues of €145 million, employs more than 175 staff, and is now the UK and Ireland’s largest independent data storage distributor.
Frank Salmon, founder and managing director of CMS Peripherals said: “We saw a great opportunity to buy a like-minded, successful distribution business that would offer our customers a broader range of storage solutions. The acquisition will also support our three-year business objective of 20 per cent annual growth that would take us to turnover of €250M.”
CCI insists it is ‘business as usual’ following the acquisition.
