The countdown to the 2008 Channel Expo continues with the announcement of new sponsors and initiatives for the event.It has been confirmed that both Ingram Micro and Star are to be the event’s official Platinum Sponsors. AMD has also joined as the sponsor of the VIP area, whereas Trust and Gamma Telecom have signed on as Gold Sponsors. More sponsors are to be announced over the coming months.
A series of exciting new features have also been added to this year’s event, including The New Product World, which is a special demonstration area that will feature eight product demos on each day. Another new area is The Dealmakers Arms, which is a comfortable bar area designed to allow visitors and exhibitors to catch up and network with one another.
The Channel Expo 2008 will yet again feature a detailed, free seminar programme set to take place in the Masterclass Theatre. The seminars will be presented by industry experts and address the most topical issues facing the channel. And finally there is the Channel Expo Trading Pods and Business Lounge, which are purpose-built meeting rooms away from the busy exhibitor floor, where sponsors can take important customers.
The 2008 Channel Expo is set to take place on the 21st and 22nd May at Birmingham NEC.
