Channel Expo organiser Incisive Media is encouraging those that haven't already to sign up for the forthcoming trade show, claiming the first-time presence of big name firms such as Microsoft, Google and Dell will further boost the deal-making potential of the event.
The show will have a greater emphasis on discussion and education, in part reflecting the fears many retailers have regarding the economic climate.
"With companies such as Google, VMWare, Dell, Microsoft, Symantec, Northamber, Ricoh, Canon and Cisco all taking up a presence at Channel Expo for the first time we are seeing how important it is in the channel to strike up new relationships and engage in face-to-face dialogue," said Charlie Beall, marketing manager for the business and technology group at Incisive Media. "This is where deals happen so the message to prospective visitors is can you afford not to attend?"
To register as a visitor of the show, head over the site at www.channelexpo.co.uk.
The PC Retail team will be on stand 140 during the show, held in the Birmingham NEC on May 20th to the 21st.
