Europe's largest consumer electronics show, CeBIT, is now in full swing, with vendors demonstrating a broad range of new products from tablet PCs to gaming peripherals.
Consumer electronics vendor Archos unveiled two tablets – the Archos 7 and the Archos 8, while HP debuted its first multi-touch tablet for business users – a convertible notebook/slate.
Sat nav manufacturer Mio showed off its new device, the Mio Moov V780 – a GPS tablet-style unit with wireless and multimedia functionality.
Nvidia, meanwhile, revealed an update to its Ion line of graphics processors, which will apparently provide netbooks with ten times the graphics performance.
The vendor was also present in two of Gigabyte’s new offerings – laptops that ship with Nvidia graphics docking stations.
Asus’ latest range included its new e-reader, the Ares GPU and the fourth generation of EeePCs.
Netgear displayed several new products, including a multimedia kit and a storage device for small to medium businesses.
Logitech has announced two new universal remote controls, which support over 5,000 brands and 225,000 devices, and a clip-on laptop speaker.
Peripherals vendor SteelSeries showed two new products due to market later in the year – a headset for competitive gamers and a quick-reacting keyboard.
