One of the most common complaints about trade events are the queues to get in, however, that could be a thing of the past for visitors to this year's CeBIT after event organisers Deutsche Messe AG announced that it would be launching a e-activation scheme for tickets.Visitors will be able to activate their tickets via text message, as well as via the internet by typing in the registration code on the back of the ticket. Visitors will then be able to access the exhibition via ten 'fast-lane' gates.
CeBIT will be taking place between March 4th and 9th at the Hannover Exhibition Centre in Germany.
To activate your ticket via text, send the registration code printed on the back of your paper ticket along with a few other details to +49 176/888 99999. Alternatively, you can activate it by visiting www.cebit.de.
