Carphone Warehouse has for the first time put laptops on sale as part of its New Year price promotions.The cuts have seen the retailer, which recently claimed it had captured as much as ten per cent of the UK laptop market as reported by PC Retail, drop prices on one Toshiba model by almost £70.
Other models from vendors including Sony and Acer are also seeing prices cut by £50.
The retailer has also cut the price of several mobile phones, some by over £145.
