Computer 2000 has become the latest distributor to begin working with buying groups, after it signed a deal with Integra Office Solutions.
The agreement, which is the first of its kind for the distributor, will give the buying group's members access to over 30,000 products, along with logistics support and stock-holding capability.
Integra had previously worked with Ingram Micro, but did not renew its long-standing partnership in December.
Computer 2000 general manager Ben Kemp said that the deal would open new markets for the distributor. "This is an exciting move for Computer 2000, enabling us to work more closely with a large number of IT resellers."
Integra's managing director Aidan McDonough added that the deal was strategically important for the buying group, which has 68 ICT dealers.
"Computer 2000’s emphasis on offering exceptional service to both reseller customers and industry partners will allow our dealers to maximise their growth potential in the UK and deliver more choice, availability and the opportunity to generate maximum revenue."
Integra has over 300 members, spread across ICT, furniture and office supplies.
