Budget software has been hailed as a recession-busting product by channel experts.
Speaking to PCR for its budget software feature, Avanquest's marketing manager Debbie Hives said that its price made it a naturally attractive margin maker.
"In credit crunching times, it pays to have stock in that appeals to buyers on the basis of great value for money" she explained. "Margins are generally much higher on budget than on full price titles and this, coupled with the volume, ensures a healthy return for retailers."
