The teleconferencing arm of British telco giant BT announced that the firm has improved interoperability between different brands of teleconferencing equipment.

"As part of our Global Video Exchange family of services, organisations can now connect to different video endpoint technology both within and outside of their enterprise, giving them the advantage of meeting with whomever they wish, regardless of where they are," said BT Conferencing boss Richard Lowe.

The company also launched the  Video Bridging 3.0 tool  which allows firms to make video calls over the cloud-hosted service, bridging between a number of difference devices including iOS and Android based tablets and smartphones.
