BT is slashing its call rates for business customers in a bid to persuade more resellers to offer the company’s products and services. The BT Business Plan scheme is being repackaged as BT Business One Plan and fixed line call rates will be capped at 5p an hour and mobile calls at 20p an hour.
In the case of fixed line calls, the new rate represents a 50 per cent reduction of charges when compared with BT Business Plan.
Moreover, customers who sign up for 24-month contracts will receive a five per cent reward in the form of an account credit on all their fixed, mobile and broadband connections.
DMSL, which works with over 1,000 partners to generate business for BT, is the leading supplier of BT broadband and related services. The company has been recruited as one of only three trial partners for the BT Business One Plan.
John Carter, managing director of DMSL, said: "This is the best offer BT has ever presented. It caps call costs at a fantastic rate and provides single-billing for whatever combination of calls and lines and broadband and mobile services the customer wants."
Mr Carter added that the New Year is the perfect time to offer BT Business One Plan to attract new customers. "We'll be pulling out the stops to make sure that our reseller partners take this opportunity to get their 2008 sales off to a flying start."
