The Business Software Alliance has announced its first major victory as part of its London anti-piracy campaign.
According to the body, London member's club Soho House was found to under licensed Microsoft software. It chose to settle with the anti-piracy group for an undisclosed fee.
The settlement comes two weeks into a two-month campaign the BSA is running in London aimed at informing, educating and enforcing compliance with companies using under-licensed or illegal software.
"Businesses that persist in installing and using illegal software are infringing copyright legislation and directly threaten the business environment at the heart of London's growth, particularly the vital technology and creative sector," said BSA spokeswoman Alyna Cope.
