Orange has unveiled Brightpoint as its first distribution partner as it looks to put its IT push into action.
Just last month, the network operator told PC Retail that the firm was looking to sign two major distribution deals that would allow it to target the IT channel, with Brightpoint unveiled as the first today.
Speaking to PC Retail, Orange indirect channel business manager Mark Simm said: "We are currently in negotiations with two major IT distributors that have already dipped their toes into the telecoms channel."
It is thought that the deal will give Brightpoint's partners direct access to Orange's Connectivity, devices and SIM only deals.
