Bitdefender working on wearable tech security products

Bitdefender is currently ‘exploring security over wearable tech’, chief security strategist, Catalin Cosoi, has told PCR.

“There’s very little security – or none at all – on these device and there’s a lot of personal information on them,” said Cosoi.

“People’s heart beats, locations, and daily activity will all be stored on these device.

“Everybody in the security industry should start to explore wearable tech.”

Cosoi also revealed that the security firm has ‘tonnes of new things’ it’s working on throughout 2014, including security for smart homes as well as a bigger push into the enterprise market.
