Best Buy and Carphone Warehouse are set to detail their UK invasion plans tomorrow during the latter's second quarter trading statement, with analysts and investors expecting store numbers, locations and other roll out details.Reports have suggested that the two firms could announced initial plans for 100 stores in the UK, with analysts Cazenove predicting a total of 120 stores by March 2014.
A spokesperson for Carphone Warehouse previously told PC Retail that the stores would likely be in the range of 40,000sq ft to 60,000sq ft, but analysts expect stores in the region of 30,000sq ft are more likely, at least at first.
Carphone and Best Buy announce details of their plan at 2:30pm tomorrow afternoon.
