October 14th 2008. That is the day that Best Buy and Carphone Warehouse will announce details of Best Buy's European expansion plans.The plans will be unveiled to investors and the media during a raft of store visits, aimed at giving them a better understanding of what the two companies have planned for the UK market.
Detailed plans will be revealed during Carphone Warehouse's second quarter trading statement, which has been moved from October 8th to the 14th to account for the tours.
The store tours, according to the two companies, are aimed at "allowing investors to develop a greater understanding of how the Best Buy 'big box' consumer electronics format has evolved and how it can translate to European market".
