Having launched in the UK in 2010, giant US electronics retailer Best Buy UK may be considering pulling out of the region.
That’s according to ‘retail sources’ cited in the Sunday Times The retailer currently has 11 megastores scattered across the country, which would all close if the rumours are true.
A spokesperson claimed it was always on the cards to conduct a review the business at this stage. ‘We are now conducting our evaluation with our partners and will provide an update in due course.’
The sources haven’t been named, so speculation can only be taken so far. We’ll bring you more new as it breaks.
