Best Buy has announced that it will be opening six new stores this week, with the firm hosting the usual ribbon cutting ceremonies and $10,000 check presentations.The new stores, which will open in Tucson, Arizona; Beaumont, California; Soquel, California; Davenport, Florida; Warner Robins, Georgia; and Fort Worth Texas, will come fully equipped with the latest store layouts and a full complement of staff and services including Geek Squad.
The Tucson store will be the first to open, with its ribbon cutting ceremony due to take place 6pm on Thursday April 24th. The Warner Robins and Fort Worth stores will open at 10am local time on Friday April 25th and the Beaumont, Soquel and Davenport stores will open on Saturday 26th at 10am local time.
The openings bring the company's total store count to 941 in 49 states and Puerto Rico.
