The technology vendor has signed a partnership agreement with the British buying group, Brigantia, in a bid to increase its presence in the UK market. According to CRN, BenQ will update its Q-dos programme, which rewards the vendor’s unmanaged reseller accounts via a points system. BenQ directly manages 30 to 40 VARs and has 1,300 unmanaged resellers at Registered Partner level.
BenQ said it would look into its current reseller base and invite VARs with strong prospects to join the Q-dos scheme. So far, BenQ has had most success in the UK with its projectors but wants to encourage its resellers to sell its full range of products.
