A varied spread of finalists took home awards in the Vendor category at the debut PC Retail Awards ceremony held at London’s Café Royal on Regent Street last night. Security firm AVG took home the Sales Team: Vendor award after enjoying huge interest in its consumer anti-virus software this year, while on the corporate side Lenovo was rewarded with the Sales Team: Business prize.
Following a hugely active period in the channel, chip maker AMD was presented with the best Marketing and PR Team: Business, while Symantec (pictured) took the Marketing and PR Team: Home award.
Meanwhile, after enjoying a successful year with its range of power supply units, Antec, was given the Specialist Vendor award.
