Asus has announced the arrival of seven models within the new 23.6-inch ET2400 all-in-one PC range.
While all seven models in the ET2400 are fitted with a 23.6-inch 1920 x 1080 screen, the models offer considerably different specifications elsewhere ranging from casual all the way up to a high end gaming rig with Nvidia 3D Vision.
The lowest end model, the ET2400E, is equipped with a dual-core Intel E5500 CPU with integrated graphics while at the other end of the range the E2400XVT comes with a mighty Core i7-740QM, Nvidia GeForce "Fermi" graphics, Blu-ray drive and a 3D display.
There's even an AMD-equipped model with the ET2400A armed with an AMD Athlon II X2 220 processor and ATI Radeon HD5470 graphics. The models also offer USB 3.0, Bluetooth 3.0, TV tuner and Blu-ray options and a removable rear bezel to allow ease of upgrades.
Normally such all-in-one designs are aimed at lower end specifications but in fitting the ET2400 series with such a large high resolution display and offering options of high end components and even Nvidia 3D Vision capability, Asus appears to be getting serious about the category.
