Asus is to launch the latest in its range of EeePCs, the S101, which will be priced at £450.Like the Eee 901 and 1000, the S101 will feature a 1.6 Gigahertz Intel Atom processor and a 10.2-inch screen, however unlike the others it will contain up to 64 gigabytes on a solid state drive and support a 945GME graphics card.
The higher price tag and better performance has prompted speculation that the S101 is designed to be an ultraportable sub-notebook, made to rival the MacBook Air.
