Asus has launched a the N series of laptops in 15.6 and 17.3-inch sizes featuring Sonicmaster audio technology.
Designed by ex Bang and Olfusen designer David Lewis, Asus described the N series as "polished edges elegantly frame the piano-gloss surface alongside the sound wave-inspired speaker mesh."
Bundled with an external subwoofer, the 15.6 and 17.3-inch models come equipped with Intel Sandy Bridge processors and Nvidia GeForce GT555M discreet graphics with optimus technology.
The new N Series boasts an enhanced version of SonicMaster, co-developed with Bang & Olfusen ICEPower technology, Asus said. The new N Series range delivers improved audio as a result of expanded range, improved fidelity and deeper bass, the company said, as well as plenty more of the usual pseudoscience audiophile claims.
Priced from £649, the new N Series range is available in-store and online from PC World, Comet, Currys, HMV, Micro Anvika, Amazon and Ebuyer.
