Asus launches mobile gaming notebook

Asus has launched a high-spec notebook aimed towards the growing mobile gaming market described as a ‘personal entertainment centre.’

According to Tech Trader, the G1 has a high-end screen, CPU and graphics card which would look more at home on a gaming desktop. It also comes two-year global warranty, a free backpack and a gaming mouse.

The system boasts an Intel Centrino core duo processor, an Nvidia GeForce Go 7700 graphics card, 512MB of video RAM, 2GB of 667MHz RAM, 160GB HDD, a Lightscribe DVD-R, four-in-one card reader, 15.4-inch WSXGA Colourshine LCD screen and comes loaded with Windows Vista Home Premium.

Meanwhile, 802.11g networking and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity come as standard alongside LAN and modem connections.
