ASRock has announced that it intends to expand into the mid-range and high-end motherboard markets because of limited growth potential this year in the entry-level segment, according to CEO, Ted Tsu.Tsu, speaking to the press, stated that it is his belief that by the end of 2008, around 35-40 per cent of its total motherboard shipments will be from the mid-range to high-end.
Sterling Wu, president of ASRock also re-instated the company's commitment to the channel, with Tsu saying that it would be the channel that will help it to keep growing shipments throughout.
