Retailer offers big savings on TVs, eReaders and laptops

Asda launches its biggest ever tech sale

The retailer has announced its latest sale, featuring a wide range of tech products.

As the New Year begins, Asda has slashed prices on a number of items, including USBs, flat screen TVs, and desktop PCs.

The Kobo Mini eReader has been reduced to £49, providing further appeal to those still deciding whether they really want to splash out on a high-end eReader such as Amazon’s Kindle Fire, or settle for something a bit easier on the wallet.

Other offers include an LG 32-inch LED TV with four 3D glasses for under £300 and Garmin Sat Navs for £99. Shoppers can also grab a Dell Inspiron 15 3520 laptop for £269.

With its 542 stores, Asda serves over 18 million shoppers a week. With such a massive company able to slash prices on so many tech products, independent retailers and smaller tech chains may find it hard to keep up during the January sales.
