Speculation is growing that Apple will finally reveal the long awaited Apple tablet, dubbed the iSlate.
According to the Financial Times, the vendor is expected to make a number of major announcements at the end of the month, while Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster told the newspaper that he believed that there is “a 75 per cent likelihood that Apple will have an event in January and a 50 per cent chance that it will be held to launch the Apple Tablet.”
As usual, Apple has declined to give any comment regarding the rumours, and so there is no firm information on product specs or capabilities, however the blog site Boy Genius Report claims to have been tipped off about 7-inch and 10-inch tablet devices.
Elsewhere, Oppenheimer analyst Yair Reiner was reported by CNN as saying that Apple is gearing up to produce as many as one million tablet PCs per month, with a retail price tag of $1000 each.
