A gaggle of hardcore Apple fanboys braved the unpredictable British weather to camp overnight outside the firm’s new Covent Garden store ahead of its grand opening on Saturday.
According to The Guardian, thousands queued on the day in the hopes of being one of the first customers to pass through the doors of the new outlet, which is Apple’s biggest store to date.
The Covent Garden unit, which is spread over three floors and used to be a nightclub, has rooms dedicated to Macs, iPads, iPhones and iPods, as well as a Genius Bar for free technical support.
