Apple has today begun shipping the MacBook Air, which it is calling the world’s thinnest notebook.Measuring 0.16 inches at its thinnest point Apple is keen to push the compact nature of the computer – although it as also announced that the Apple TV software update due to be shipped with it is not finished. The program is due to be released as a free download within two weeks.
The MacBook Air comes with a 13.3-inch widescreen display, built in iSight video camera, a 1.6 GHz or 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 4MB L2 cache, 2GB of memory, an 80GB and is preloaded with 802.11n Wi-Fi technology and Bluetooth 2.1.
