Apple kicks rogue developer off App Store

iPhone developer Thuat Nguyen has had all his apps booted from the App Store, following accusations of chart-rigging and iTunes account fraud.

The story first emerged over the weekend, with complaints from App Store users that they had been charged for apps they hadn’t bought. At the same time, Nguyen’s apps rocketed to dominate the store’s Books category.

"The developer Thuat Nguyen and his apps were removed from the App Store for violating the developer Program License Agreement, including fraudulent purchase patterns," says a statement from Apple.
