Apple is expected to beat its forecast of $18 billion for the current quarter by around $2 billion, if it follows previously observed patterns.
According to the Business Insider, the vendor has routinely provided conservative guidance for quarterly forecasts, before going on to beat them by an average of 19.3 per cent and ‘basking in glory’.
If these patterns hold true, the vendor could announce as much as $21.5 billion in quarterly revenue.
