Apple has announced a major expansion of its international retail operations, with 40 new outlets opening before the end of the financial year.Three of the new stores will be in UK, with Covent Garden in Central London and London's Westfield shopping complex having been named. The third store will be opened in an unannounced northern city.
The current favourite is Liverpool, which will see its huge city centre redevelopment be completed in the coming months.
Other countries that will receive new stores include Brazil and Mexico.
