Apple is promising that its Sydney store, which opens later this month and is the first of the firm's outlets in the Southern Hemisphere, with senior vice president in charge of retail Rob Johnson describing it as a "significant store".In an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, Johnson said: "It's going to be a breathtaking store. We've been working on the store for a long time – the best part of two years – and everyone...is very excited for that day to come."
He also revealed that the store will be only one of three in the world to be spread across three stores, but remained coy on exactly how much floor space there would be because of a secret architectural feature that eats into the size of the store.
"It is one of the biggest stores we've ever built and what I would say for now is that it is a very significant store," Johnson added.
It will unique in otherways as well, with it being just one of three stores to feature Apple's Pro Labs service – only the firm's New York and Boston stores also feature the service.
