Apple has removed a number of threads containing complaints about the iPhone 4 from its comment boards.
According to Mac User, the vendor deleted comments that referred to an unfavourable review by Consumer Reports, the US equivalent to Which?.
The referred article was critical of the widely reported antenna problems that the iPhone 4 has suffered, and concluded: “Apple needs to come up with a permanent – and free – fix for the antenna problem before we can recommend the iPhone 4.”
The iPhone 4 has been a bumpy ride for Apple, which recently became the highest grossing IT company in the world. The vendor has been widely criticised for its handling of the antenna issue, which sees signal reception drop significantly if the phone is cradled in the left hand.
