ISP cuts 100 jobs ahead of spin-off from Time Warner

AOL reduces workforce

AOL laid off 100 full-time workers yesterday, ahead of its division from parent company Time Warner.

According to the Washington Post, the cuts were spread across the company, which will continue to retain around 6,900 employees.

AOL was acquired by Time Warner in 2001, but will split from the company after many unsuccessful attempts to integrate the businesses.
