Angry Birds developer Rovio has released a mysterious new video teasing fans that ‘something PIG is coming’.
The video doesn’t give away much, but there seems to be two main rumours circulating the internet about what it could mean.
The first is a new Angry Birds game which will allow fans to play from the perspective of the pigs. Apparently there is already a game in Japan where players can launch pigs at the birds flying above them. Could Rovio be releasing this version to the rest of the world?
The other rumour that seems to be popular amongst fans is that there is an Angry Birds TV show in the works. There’s an Angry Birds entry on IMDb which states that the project is in development and is expected in 2015.
It seems unlikely that Rovio would start a campaign about this three years early, but you never know…
