Westcoast has confirmed the company’s director, Andy Dow, has left by "mutual agreement".
Dow worked at Westcoast for seven years until November 2007, when he left to lead Dell's UK and Ireland operation. He returned in February 2009, but left the distributor for a second time yesterday.
"It is sad to see Andy leave our company after some time here and after many years of service at Westcoast but this was a mutual agreement," Westcoast’s sales and marketing director, Alex Tatham, told MicroScope.
Directors Sunil Madhani, Alan Hunt and Duncan Forsyth will reportedly take on Dow's responsibility for vendors such as Samsung and Apple, and Westcoast's Ireland operations.
At the time of writing Dow’s LinkedIn profile had remained unchanged, listing him as “Director at Westcoast Limited”. His personal summary read: “Very hands on; I like to make a difference, get involved and lead from the front. Pet hates are emails and meetings for the sake of it - the curse of this generation!”
