Citigroup analyst Richard Gardner has claimed that Apple has begun shipping its widely anticipated remodelled MacBook laptops.Gardner claims in his research note released yesterday, that 'field checks' have confirmed the shipments; although he said they still aren't likely to appear before next month, as anticipated by the media.
Alongside the much rumoured aluminium casing, he revealed that the firm might be planning on launching these new models at "an aggressive entry-level price point."
Currently, its MacBook range starts at £699 in the UK, although previous analysts have suggested that new price points could be as low as £499.
Information about the new generation of MacBooks first emerged back in May, as reported by PC Retail.
