To ensure everyone's 'in the mood' when they sit down for the PC Retail awards, AMD has decided to sponsor the pre-dinner drinks reception. PC Retail feels it would be unreasonable to expect its readers to sit down for a three-course dinner without a couple of glasses of bubbly under their belt and AMD clearly agrees.
AMD's European channel marketing manager, Richard Baker, is looking forward to the big day. "AMD is delighted to be sponsoring and to be involved with PC Retail’s 2008 awards," he said. "Not only are the awards an important means of recognising excellence in the channel but the evening creates the perfect opportunity to network with key industry players.
We look forward to what will undoubtedly be a fun and rewarding evening."
The PC Retail awards will take place at the Cafe Royal in the West End of London on Thursday March 13th. The finalists will be announced in the December issue of PC Retail, due to hit desks on Thursday December 6th. The eventual winners will be decided by an independent panel of 75 industry insiders.
