AMD has unveiled its new online channel portal dubbed Business Centre, tailored to give extra support to European resellers when selling the firm’s processors, graphics and chipsets. The portal allows resellers and retailers to order point of sale and demonstration materials, give-aways and merchandise, such as posters, ceiling hangers, life-sized ‘Ruby’ figures, and AMD branded fleeces, t-shirts, mouse mats and ice-scrapers.
It also provides logistic, event and database resources.
“This is the visible demonstration of AMD’s commitment to its reseller channel,” said Ottmar Knauer channel marketing manager EMEA at AMD. “The Business Center is an interface that brings big business support to the tens of thousands of AMD resellers across Europe. AMD is devoting ever-increasing resources to help its partners and today’s launch means that resellers can now call on us 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As the portal grows we will be bringing more – and more exciting – reseller services online.”
